  11.     I have been using AMosaic2.0 for a week or two now on my Amiga
  12. 1200.  Everything is working surprisingly well except for external
  13. viewing.  I have visited several sites that should have displayed a
  14. picture or sound file, and nothing happened.  AMosaic "said" that it
  15. was downloading the file, then opening the external viewer, but then
  16. nothing happens.  I have read all of the docs on AMosaic at the
  17. AMosaic home site, and I have tried using the mailcap file with
  18. "Shunt" and with simply directing the output to Multiview.  I do have
  19. all necessary datatypes properly installed in devs:dataypes.  There is
  20. a sublte difference in the results between the two versions of the
  21. mailcap file.  When I use "Shunt", absolutely nothing happens after
  22. AMosaic says that it is running the external viewer.  When I comment
  23. the "shunt" lines out, and use the Multiview lines (with
  24. PUBSCREEN=AMosaic, which is the name of my AMosaic public screen in
  25. MUI), when AMosaic says that it's running the external viewer, the hard
  26. drive works like it's trying to load the picture or run MultiView, but
  27. then nothing happens.  I've looked at other screens and for MultiView
  28. processes, and found nothing.
  29.     I would be most grateful for any help or suggestions that
  30. anyone could give me!  Thanks.
